Think New Orleans is a resource for New Orleans communities recovering from Hurricane Katrina.

We are not a clearing house for official announcements, or general information. Please use katrinahelp.info for news, information, Red Cross, stuff.

(But we have pleanty of stories about how people actually did connect.)

We are setting up people with information about their community. People have lost their e-mail, lost their gathering places. The best way to get help is from friends and neighbors.

We're pulling together personal experiences, messages about neighborhoods, schools, Univerisities, hospitals, and grouping them by community.
