Yes, my mother in-law works for Turo and I started with people close to home due to the inefficient way people are accounted for in evacuation process. She has had difficulty location her co workers and I thought I could help. If anyone works with the Rehab Nurses (head injuries) Sandra V is doing well.

Turo Employees/Houston Astro Dome by joel6242, 9/3/05 19:41 ET

I went to the Astro Dome today to see if I could locate Turo Employees, I could find none. They are going to start sending folks to different parts of US. When I was there Frontier Airlines offered 53 tickets to Denver and I know there are other areas offering this as well. The unfortunate part of the whole deal is that tracking individuals was not done well at first. It looks as though they will begin to change that in the next few days by erecting a large screen to display people’s pictures.

If you have family displaced in the Houston area I can say from a first hand view that they have medical needs, food, water, and AC. The Houston folks have out done themselves in this regards.

I do see a huge need for African American religious groups going out to the Astro Dome to provide prayer and hugs. I will post more on this later.

I did get a couple of names that I will post by the end of the evening.
