There is a nominal fee for membership.
To become a voting member you must live within the Boundaries stated above.
The Pro Tem Board meets on Wednesday evenings at 8306 Pritchard Pl, New Orleans, LA the home of Jenel Hazlett.
General Meetings are held at Incarnate Word, 8325 Apricot St on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30PM.

Jenel Hazlett had the idea for the Organization on New Years Eve,while celebrating the New Year and the return of her immediate Neighbors.
Jenel founded the organization in response to the B.N.O.B. land Use report and the green dot which fell too close to our Neighborhood.
She actively canvassed the neighborhood looking for other concerned residents. Our membership has grown from that and continues to grow.
[edit] Volunteer opportunities
NorthWest Carrollton welcomes any voluteer efforts to assist in improving the quality of our neighborhood. We have held 3 successful summer volunteer activities. In 2007 we held a neighborhood wide cleanup. In 2008 volunteers assisted with painting the exterior of one of our resident's homes. In 2009, Volunteers assisted with neighborhood wide cleanup, drain cleanout and the painting of local dance studio on Apple Street.
