Here are the responses I got to your inquery...

ICC is through your home insurance company if you had flood insurance. Contact them. Elevation grants are part of the award calculation. Tell them that you want it during your interview with your home advisor or tell your advisor after your interview if you didn't during your interview.

This is from Melanie Ehrlich, co-founder of CHAT. It means that you'll talk about the elevation grant when you go in for your Road Home interview.

IF you had flood insurance and IF you paid into the I.C.C. fund then you may have up to 30k to tear down and/or elevate house. Check your flood insurance policy at the time of the storm to see if you paid into the fund. If not sure, pls call your flood insurer and ask them about icc funding (which is Increased Cost of Compliance) money.

Road Home may assume you already are getting icc funds and if they are wrong you can get the full 30k from Road Home by showing you didn't have access to ICC funds thru your flood insurance. Then again....the Road Home rules may change tomorrow....stay tuned. g

The above came from a fellow on a mailing list that goes by Gomez Hernado.
