1) New OrLEENS is a "seaport". "WHAT IS IT IF IT ISN'T A SEAPORT?"

2) There are 25,000 churches in New Orleans, and 30,000 bars. "MAYBE..."(UNCONFIRMED)

3) The mayor of New Orleans is elected to a 10-year term. "ARE YOU ALRIGHT?? A MAYOR IS ELECTED FOR 4 YEARS,8 YEARS MAX. PERIOD."

4) The City Council only meets once every three months. "(DON'T KNOW HOW OFTEN ANY CITY COUNCIL IN THE US MEETS NOR DO I SEE THE RELEVANCE"

5) New Orleans has a median income of $1,500 per year. "WHAT?? THE PEOPLE ON WELFARE GET MORE THAN THAT. I WILL ASSUME YOU MEANT 9TH WARD HAS A MEDIAN INCOME OF $15,000. OTHERWISE THE REMARK IS JUST STUPID."

6) There are 750 canals in Orleans Parish, and people swim in them when it gets really hot. "ARE THESE PEOPLE ALLIGATORS OR POISONIOUS BLACK MOCCASIN SNAKES?? THATS THE ONLY THINGS THAT EVER SWIM IN THE CANALS. WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET THIS NONSENSE??"

7) New Orleans is the only American city where malaria and cholera are still current medical problems. "MORONS!" "THESE DISEASES COULD BE CAUSED BY THE DEAD AND SEWAGE FLOATING IN THE WATER....MORONS!"

8) The Jazz & Heritage Festival (held in April and May every year) was canceled two years ago because of high water due to a hurricane. "UHHH APRIL-MAY? ALRIGHTY, THEN..."

9) People in New Orleans typically pay less than $500/year in federal and state taxes. "AH HAHAHAHAHA!!! 28% OF N.O. RESIDENTS MAKE LESS THAN $100,000 A YEAR WHERE DO THEY GET THIS STUFF??"THERE WERE HALF A MILLION PEOPLE LIVING IN N.O. "

10) The last mayor, "Mark Morio", is currently in jail for tax evasion. NO COMMENT, QUITE POSSIBLE, REALLY DON'T CARE...I LIVE IN RI NOW AND OUR MAYOR IS DEFINITELY IN PRISON JUST GOOGLE CIANCI"
