Go To Family Messages

1) Go to Family Messages, and register your name to let people know you are safe.

2) Go to Family Messages, and register the name of the person you are looking for.

You can leave a message that is attached to the name of the person you are trying to find. Names are organized by location, and (soon) searchable by name.

Why Family Messages?

In order to make the most of our efforts to find each other after Katrina, we need to all go to the same place to check in.

I'm asking people to Family Messages because it is a web site that it is designed to be a friend and family contact database. It is a directory of hurricane survivors. It does not double as a message board or forum. It doesn't require "discipline" to use. It is a directory.

It is also the first working directory, and the sooner we start to use the same directory, the better.
