The District 5 Neighborhood Recovery Committee is preparing a plan to assist in the recovery of our community. The Steering Committee that is leading the organizing of the groups is made up of current and past presidents of the Lakeview Civic Improvement Association and the Presidents or their representatives from Lake Vista, Lakeshore, Lakewood, Country Club Estates, Parkview and City Park neighborhoods. The committee has established additional action oriented committees and responsibilities that will utilize the input and work of many volunteers to meet the challenges of rebuilding our community. We truly will have "one voice" for our neighborhood recovery. Volunteers and community input are welcome. The first draft of the plan will be shared with the community for discussion and input on June 17 at the Lake Vista United Methodist Church located on Spanish Fort Blvd.
