Think New Orleans is collaborating with nonprofit and neighborhood organizations to host a participant driven conference on the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority. We are reaching out to all nonprofit and neighborhood organizations who’s work involves the mission of the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority.

The Broadmoor Improvement Association is partnering with Think New Orleans, Mid-City Neighborhood Organization, Downtown Neighborhood Improvement Association, Trinity Christian Community, CityWorks, Common Knowledge, Citizens’ Road Home, Irish Channel Neighborhood Organization, Phoenix New Orleans, Hollygrove Neighbors and CBNO/MAC to produce an unconference format forum to discuss the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority.

The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority Unconference will create an environment where these organizations can collaborate. They can share their experiences with and concerns about the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority, it’s operation and it’s mission.

At the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority Unconference we’ll focus on the issues surrounding the disposal of a vast inventory of blighted, adjudicated and Road Home properties. The issues that surround the use of these properties are of great concern to the nonprofit and neighborhood organizations that are leading the recovery of New Orleans.
