HUD and HANO Sue St. Bernard Residents
An update on the ongoing occupation of the St. Bernard housing projects. Housing agencies sue to remove protesters by David Hammer of the Times-Picayune. Why are all these protestors from New York? Why don’t we have more protestors from New Orleans? Let’s invite public housing residents to join us on Monday at the Louisiana Supreme Court when the 110th Congress arrives.

Sounds like a good idea, but being at the State Supreme Court, there should be some structure for the protest, or the various policing agencies are going to go crazy.
I also see this as something that should be done primarily by displaced housing residents.
I don’t imagine a protest.
I imagine that we should inform public housing residents of the hearing, and ask them to attend, and help them if they can’t get there.
Give me the information and I’ll get public housing residents out. Thank you for wanting to include us. Just let me know.
Yes. Show up. Please. I’ll send you an email as well. We’re going to show up at 9:00 pm and listen. The New 99.5 FM called me and wanted to speak with some people form 5-6pm about what they heard.
If we disgree with what is said, we’ve got plenty of outlets, and we want to help the public housing issue get into the press and on the Internet.
