Think New Orleans

Brand New Hurricane Highway

January 20th, 2007

(From Blogometer: Mister Go) Please get the word out that a Houma company is trying to get a canal (huricane highway) dug with taxpayers money. The canal will increase the cost of coastal restoration and endanger the home and heritage of a great people. We worked hard to get the money to restore our wetlands. Now it there is a danger it could go to maintane the Huoma MRGO. This canal would bisect the wetlands from Houma south to the gulf and make restoration efforts increasingly more complex and expensive. Not to mention that the local people are being lied to. Please check out the link.
